Exposing Fakers: A Case Study

Each year, the world-wide nudist community becomes more ingrained into online social networks. Some of us only belong to groups within non-nudist networks like X, MeWe, or Bluesky. Others want to be part of sites like Nudist Nation where all members are living clothes-free. When people join nudist-only networks, they want to feel free to share their real nude photos with like-minded folks. They have an expectation that the other members are posting real photos of themselves and not ones that are stolen or created using AI tools. Unfortunately, we all know that people make it through registration on various networks and present fake personal information or fake photos. Some fakers even steal the photos of real nudists and then present themselves as that person with different personal info. Networks have various software tools that can be used to filter out some of the faux nudists who try to join. But there is always a need for human eyes on profiles to spot inconsistencies.

Recently, one of our network’s users, Feral Passenger, became embroiled in a controversy on a couple of major social networks. They have been posting modeling pictures online for a few years. It was found that they had posted a picture which had their face swapped onto another model’s body. The real model had shared their picture 13 years earlier. This was the catalyst which started the fire which has now engulfed Feral Passenger’s social accounts. More fake pictures were then discovered by various people on X and Bluesky. As some of our site members became aware of this issue, I (admin) was tasked to look into this. I have a long record of publishing investigations inside the site showing how former members used fake pictures (edited or AI or both) to fool others. The following investigation was the largest ever performed on Nudist Nation. It is a case study which will be read by nudist leaders for years to come. Below, you can see the face swapping pictures with an analysis picture, screenshots of their social network profiles, and another stolen modeling picture.

This is an analysis in a respected image investigation software showing errors between the two images. You can see where the editing has occurred on the right.
This image was posted by Feral Passenger and was supposed to be an original image. As you can see below, this is another face swap using a different series photo.
These are two original 2019 shots from a Model Mayhem Dominime (MM#1932887) photo-shoot. I do not have access to the original shot from the face swap. It is still out there somewhere.
Here is a post on Reddit with someone sharing the two photos six years ago. That is before Feral Passenger joined the current social networks.

Confirmed AI-Created Shots: 17

When you see this AI image checker with the blue circle, you will see some English errors. This is because the service is run out of Hong Kong.

AI Shots Not Confirmed by Software: 12

If you want to see the details described in the following shots, you just need to download them and zoom in.

There is a green-colored error on top of the right wrist. The skin wear patterns on the back of the left hand do not match those of a woman in her early 20s. The eyes are totally fake.
The green effect on the skin is an artificial color bleed error. The right elbow reflection in the mirror does not exactly match the supposed angle. There are separation errors on the tips of the two larger fingers of the left hand and the hair.
There are orange skin discoloration errors around the right breast which don’t match the other three series pictures. The shiny spot on the knuckle of the pinky finger of the left hand was overdone and is starting to bubble.
The ending portion of the left butt cheek is not formed correctly. There are sections of skin on the lower back which are bordering on showing small scales. The vulva separation line is incorrect. There is a long and dark skin error strip shown on the reflection of the right leg. There is an artifact stuck to the right side of the head hair before the reflection starts.
The left leg is misshapen below the knee. The left foot has six toes. The left thumb is not formed correctly.
The nipples, areolas, and lines under the left breast are all wrong. There are inconsistencies between the wrinkle/fold patterns on the tops of the left hand fingers. On the back of the right leg, to the right of the knee, there is a skin artifact. The toes are not fully formed.
The interior line that runs down the inside of the left leg is anatomically incorrect. When Feral Passenger entered the text prompt description, they forgot to explain how the belly button would look in order to match the other shots they posted.
The ends of the fingernails are not properly separated out from the skin to the sides. The particular AI program that was utilized for this image used a noticeable mathematical technique to formulate the skin. It is very uniform and can be seen when zoomed way in. The interior of the belly button could be considered abnormal. The posed angles for the legs were not calculated correctly and show anatomical errors for the twisting of the legs and sizing of the calves.
The wildly-differing skin patterns between the two nipples/areolas would be unusual. The shadow and light calculation around the right breast is not quite right. There are all kinds of obvious deformities on both legs from the knees down.
The skin wrinkles on the hands are those of a woman in her 50s or so, not a woman in her early 20s. The skeletal structure produced by the AI cannot be physically matched to the petite photos of the “same subject” found on this page. That automatically means this is fake.
There is a dark image artifact underneath the left breast. The toenails on the right foot are not all formed. There is another image artifact below the knee on the right leg (white streak). The nipples are not fully formed. The fingers on the left hand are poorly formed.
The majority of the toes are not formed correctly. The bending angle of the left knee is unlikely. The fingertips on the left hand have discoloring and deformities.

Products Identified Inside the Images

At least we know the microwave isn’t AI! See below.
The out of stock Whirlpool WMH31017AS on the Home Depot website, as seen in the picture before this.
This is another altered picture. The breasts are too small versus all the other model pictures. This one likes the green stuff! See the image below for where these smelly socks came from.
Yup, good old Walmart. And they’re only $7.50! And when you’re wearing these socks and you’re high, you won’t even have the energy to create fake AI pics.
This was a nice wicker basket prop until someone lost the top to it! See the image below for where it originates from.
As you can see, this is the actual Asian shipper in Vietnam selling 100 baskets for $1,300 to US buyers.
Finally, this is US reseller Chairish hosting one basket from a 3rd party seller in Kansas for $169! So take $13 and add $156! The price of this photo-shoot prop indicates that the photographer is not an amateur and can afford nice props.

The Big Colorado Rockies Shoot That Started It All

Many of you who followed Feral Passenger have seen at least some of the photo-shoot in the Rocky Mountains which were the only photos posted which purport to show their boyfriend. This series contains more photos than any other posted by our subject with a total of 35 shots. Below, is a table showing all of the photos contained in the series. On laptop/desktop, you can right click to open an image in a new tab to see it more clearly.

This series stands out from the standalone pictures released later on, because almost everything you see in these photos is real. The terrain, plants, and rock types are correct for the Colorado Rockies. I have been there before. The bodies you see, in their basic form, are real. The editing that has occurred is focused on the faces, some of the pose details, and some clone stamping. Below, you can view a facial comparison of some of the photos of Feral Passenger:

There are numerous facial mapping/editing issues in these shots. But those are obvious. Below, you can view comparison photos of the male subject:

The facial mapping/editing on the male model was maybe done slightly better. The main issues are hair hue variation, length of sideburns, exact trim and surface area of the beard, skin pigments on the face, and variation of eye color. Some nudists who were investigating these photos on other platforms remarked that they could not reverse image search the male subject. That is because the face has been falsified.

The following image was ran through a well-known image forensics program. It detected clone stamping within the colored-in areas from some type of graphics editing program:

The following photo of the series is the most cut up. The error that led to me uncovering this one was the male left hand that is starting to merge into the tree branch. You can download the original image below and zoom in to see the unusual splicing that was done for the shot of Feral Passenger sitting on the branch. The third image was analyzed in a well-known image forensics program while looking at the noise density. This particular edit doesn’t really mean much in the grand scheme of things. It is just an example showing the alteration of images. These shots reveal the not so well-hidden editing that took place:

Conclusion

People post all kinds of AI or heavily-edited nude pictures online all the time. But in the nudist/naturist community, we consider it important that fellow nudists are uploading unedited pictures of themselves in our community networks. When you are putting yourself out there fully nude, you have an expectation that other nudists on your social site are being honest and are trustworthy. This is important in building a real and thriving nudist community like Nudist Nation. Some people post altered pictures of themselves to gain more likes, feel better about their edited body, make money off pictures on adult sites, and all other kinds of reasons. But that’s just not the nudist way. We believe in being real and just letting it all hang out. We might not have perfect bodies, but we are one with nature and living clothes-free.

This conclusive analysis was not meant to degrade or be mean. It was just done to find the truth of the matter. So who is Feral Passenger, anyway? Based on all of the evidence, IP log and positive content additions from our social network, various data points, and the fact that there was no direct profit motive in Feral Passenger’s social pages, there are three main possibilities:

  1. A person embedded in the AI world who happens to be into nudity and is being paid to do social network penetration testing using AI tools.
  2. A young woman who has done a small amount of modeling but cannot afford to travel around the world as a professional model and is using stolen or AI-created/edited images to pad her modeling portfolio to get real future gigs and increase her self confidence.
  3. A college senior or grad student who crafted an elaborate hoax as part of research for an academic thesis project on the use of AI in modern social networks, whether people are fooled, how many followers they can get, and the overarching implications of advancing AI models and the attached ethical issues.

Thank you for reading this exhaustive analysis on the years of fake image distribution from Feral Passenger. We have to remain vigilant as a worldwide community to safeguard our nudist social networks and root out any fakes. The article above only includes around half of the images they ever uploaded to the Internet. Admittedly, some of the AI images were very convincing. The nudist community must be aware that AI image generation is slowly improving. Historically, we have been focused on banning deviants and identity stealers from our social sites. But in less than 10 years, you might not even be able to recognize a real nudist photo from an AI-generated one. Stay safe out there and keep your eyes open.
